Are you going to let that voice in your head define you, who you want to be, who you are going to be? Repeatedly knocking you down at every opportunity and slowly killing your goals, dreams and aspirations?
That single voice is small but holds all the power. Everytime you procrastinate, everytime you give in to your insecurities, everytime you say not today you give that little voice more power to grow until finally it consumes everything that makes you who you are, every fibre of your being.
Life is fleeting and fragile. In the blink of an eye it can be taken away. When we leave this earth because we all will at some time...what would you want to be remembered for? What will be your legacy? The person that sat on the sofa letting the world pass them by full of self doubt and regret, the person watching social media hour upon hours watching other people do great things and unlocking their potential and yet there you are doing nothing to change? Or the person that achieved everything they set out and honestly become the very best version of themselves every single day?
We all have those voices, its only human. The voice thats constantly telling you cant do it, planting the seeds of self doubt and then gaining pleasure from knocking you down when reality is we all know we could doing something we wish to achieve. We all fall off the wagon sometimes or stray the path. We always try to take the easy route with least resistance. We have those days when we just dont want to get out of bed, study or workout and thats ok but the important thing is to get back up and back to it so not to slip back into bad habits. The difficult part is maintaining that mindset, being consistent and reminding yourself of what drives you and why you are doing it or for who.
As soon as that little voice crepts in from the shadows, its time to put on your armour and go to battle, every second, of every hour, of everyday of our lifes. Its a never ending relentless battlefield.
The choices and actions you make today will be the result in your future. So what future do you want? Is what you are doing today getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow?
